Panasonic AG-HPX600,a mid-range P2 camcorder exceeds expectations, concept P2 cam combines high cost-performance, easy operation, expandable functions, and a future proof design to meet needs in a wide range of uses, from image production to broadcasting.

Multi HD/SD codecs, including AVC-Intra100/50, are equipped with HPX600 to bring users vivid movies into life. However, there are two sides to every coin. In order to solve the above problems, you can use this professional P2 MXF to ProRes Converter ,which is a great help for Panasonic AG-HPX600 users to convert Panasonic AG-HPX600 P2 MXF to ProRes for FCP, but also make it easy for you to join several P2 MXF clips into one file. Tips & Tricks for P2 MXF to FCP conversion:
1. When import MXF videos to the MXF Converter, please make sure you have the entire MXF file structure as it saved on your camcorder’s P2 card. If you only have some loose .MXF clips, your files will have image only without audio.
2. If you want to merge MXF files, just need to check the “Merge into one” box.
3. If you have the specific demand on your output video, pleas click “Settings” on the main interface to optimize the output file quality. Here we recommend you set the video frame rate as 30fps, video size as 1920*1080 to get video most suitable for FCP editing.
4. If you got the 1080i recordings, click Edit button and you can deinterlace Panasonic 1080i P2 MXF footages for FCP via checking the “Deinterlacing” box in the Video Editor interface.
