There you are have it! The iPhone Dev Team have released a working version of redsn0w 0.9.5 beta that can jailbreak iPhone 3G running next generation iPhone OS (iPhone OS 4.0). The iPhone Deve Team have used the same pwnage2 DFU-mode exploit that we've been using since the 2.x days.
