How to backup Blu-ray movie for playback on TV via Tivx M-7000A?
Since more and more people have the needs of backup Blu-ray movie for playback on TV via multimedia player like Tivx HD M-7000, this article will discuss this point in detail, please feel free to get what you want.
Following is the list of Tivx HD M-7000 supported video formats and codec:
Video formats: (Containers)
MKV, AVI, VOB, ASF, WMV
MPEG1/2/4 Elementary (M1V, M2V, M4V)
MPEG1/2 PS: M2P, MPG
MPEG2 Transport Stream: TS, TP, TRP, M2T, M2TS, MTS
You can see that M2TS is in the above list, therefore we just need copy Blu-ray movie directly, and keep them in the format of .m2ts if your storage device is large enough. The program we will use is Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper; now let’s see the step-by –step instruction together.
After launching, the following main interface will show up, you can now load Blu-ray files to it via pressing on the button “DVD Rom”, “DVD Folder”, or “IFO/ISO”.
Step 2: Choose “Directly Copy”, and set destination folder
After loading Blu-ray files, now you need click on the drop-down button of “Format” to select “Copy”, and then hit “Directly Copy” as following:
Meanwhile, it is optional to specify the save path of the backup files via clicking on the folder icon at the opposite side of “Output”, if not, this software will export the copied files to the folder set by default automatically. Furthermore, if you want to join all chapters to be one file, you can check “Merge into one file” to achieve it.
Step 3: Backup
After the former two steps are finished, now you can click the “Convert” button to start copying. By the way, the output backup files can be found by hitting on “Open” button.
Caution:
Some files might not be played even if the file format is correct and the codec is supported.
If you have encountered such problem with the directly copied m2ts files, you can consider ripping Blu-ray movie to HD MKV instead of directly copying, because TViX nicely plays Full HD videos that are saved as H.264 in MKV.
In that case, after finished step 1, while selecting output format, you should choose “HD Video”, and then click on “MKV HD Video”.
In this course, “Settings” is available, you are allowed to hit it, and enter the window below to adjust video and audio parameters to guarantee the output quality. Do remember you have checked h.264 as video codec.
Afterwards, do the same with step 3, and format conversion will be underway as soon as you do it.
