With its high capture quality and convenience usage, JVC Everio camcorders are fond by lots of "die-hard" video fans. It's a dream tool for filming your own indie movies, recording favorite musical concert and so on. Now here comes the question: how should I import my mod files to iMovie so that I can edit and optimize it? As we know, iMovie for Mac supports QuickTime files, and the first and foremost thing is to convert mod files into mov formats. Aimersoft Total Media Converter for Mac plays a vital role in this step. Here shows the whole process.
As you probably will see on the website, it supports MOD input format and MOV output format. Next step is click "ADD video" button on the top, and choose your mod file you want to convert. If you have several mod file segments and you want to put them together and get a complete mov file, just check all the files and check the box in front of Merge into one. Please preview it/them first, in case it's in the wrong order.
Step 3:
Click "format" at the bottom of the interface, and a dropdown list will appear in front you. Here you can choose your desired format. Choose "MOV-QuickTime (*.mov)" as targeted file extension. If you have no idea what kind of formats that your device will support, just choose according to the device's name.
Step 4:
Before starting mod to mov on mac, we advise you check the setting first. Click Setting on the right of Format. If you don't know how to set your video files, the original values will work just fine.
