How to take still images from DVD with Pavtube DVD to Blackberry Converter
Pavtube DVD to Blackberry Converter has multiple functions for users not only to rip DVD to audios and videos for Blackberry but also to capture freeze frame pictures. This powerful program allows you to take still images from your favorite DVD movies to meet your special needs such as adding the pictures into your slider show, printing them out and so on.
Here I mainly introduce how “Snapshot” function works step by step.
1: Download and install Pavtube DVD to Blackberry Converter.
2: Import DVD files
Load the DVD files you need into this program from the DVD disc or DVD folder with IFO and VOB files by clicking any button of the DVD Rom, DVD Folder or IFO File. Then you can see such an intuitive interface as below.
3: Preview the whole movie and take snapshot
Please focus on the show panel on the right position of the main interface. In this panel you can take the still images you need while the movie is showing.
3.1: Introduction of buttons
These four buttons are introduced one by one from left to right:
Play/Pause button: Click this button to start previewing the whole movie and pause.
Stop button: Click this button to stop the movie show
Snapshot button: Click this button to take still images from the movie
Folder button: Click this button to get the snapshots you captured
3.2: Take snapshot
Click the Snapshot button when you want to save the picture which is showing on the panel just like you take a cameral to take a photo. You can take as many pictures as you like.
Once you click the “Snapshot” button, an image will pop up.
You can click button “Save as” to save the still image you captured. Then you can see such a window as below.
You can rename the image file and choose the format among the formats JPEG, BMP and THM from the drop-down list of “Save as type”. Here I choose the format BMP.
3.3: Get the captured images
After you finished taking pictures, click the Folder button, you will see the images you captured are listed in a folder.
You can get the snapshots from this folder and use them to meet your special needs.
