Nintendo sell over 100,000,000 DS these years, the NDS is so popular that every family own more than one DS in Japan and every 2 families have 1 DS in US. Meanwhile, many people try to watch YouTube video and other videos on their DS except playing games. However, the DS support so limited video formats (only support DPG) that watching YouTube video on NDS seems to be impossible.
Thanks for the effort of NDS’s third part app developer, watch YouTube video on DS becomes so easy. All you need to do is converting YouTube video to NDS-MPEG Video (DPG). Here below, I will take a third part app for NDS which named Wondershare DPG Converter as example to show you step-by-step tutorials – How to watch Youtube video on Nintendo DS or DS Lite.
You are allowed to import both video and audio files including standard and high definition files by clicking “Add…” button or dragging the files to the file list window directly. Here below are all the supported imported formats.
Step 2: Customize output settings
Then you can select your desired output formats from the categorized output formats list in “Profile” drop-down list, specify the output directory to save your converted files in “Output” drop-down list. And you can set the related video/audio parameters (resolution, frame rate, video encoder, bit rate, sample rate and audio channel etc) in “Settings” window by clicking setting.
