General Discussion - How to split a DVD neverflow - Sun Mar 08, 2009 6:50 pm Post subject: How to split a DVD
Like many iPod fans, I always put my DVDs on my iPod and watch them when I am not working. It’s really a nice way to fill the time, but there is a problem that the movie is too long and I don’t have enough time to enjoy the whole movie at one time and next time when I want to watch it, it’s really hard to find out where to begin.
From now on, it is no longer a problem. My friend tells me to split it into small parts. It works and I use
Best DVD Ripper
Step 2: Load DVD.
Just put your DVD to your DVD Drive and click “Load DVD” to import your DVD.
Step 3: Choose profile and settings.
Choose your output profile from the drop-down list. It has many profiles for different generations of iPod, such as iPod nano, iPod video and even iPhone.
Click “settings” button, a pop-up window will show up and allows you to adjust “Encoder”, “Bit Rite”, “Resolution” and other video/audio settings.
Step 4: Trim your DVD into different parts.
Click “trim” button, a pop-up window.
Three ways for you to divide your Movie.
a. Enter the start time and end time in the “Time Box”
For example, you want to get a part of my movie from the start to 40 minutes. You just need to type 0 in the Start Time Box and type 40 minutes in the End Time Box.
b. Drag your “scissors bar” to choose where to start and where to end.
If you just don’t know what the exact time that you want to start/end, just drag the scissors bar to where you want to begin and end. (The exact time will be shown on the Time Box)
b. Use “Trim From”/ “Trim To” buttons.
You are watching the movie on your DVD player or computer and then you find a part of movie is really funny or you are really like this part and want to watch again. Just use “Trim From” and “Trim To” buttons.
Step 5: Start the conversion.
After you pick up a part of your movie, just click “Start” button to begin your conversion.
Tip:
This DVD Ripper also has other editing functions.
a. Crop: This function can remove the black edges of your DVD movies
b. Merge: This function can help you to put two or more video files into one.
c. Snap Shot: This is a really cool function that can help you to catch the picture you like of the movie.
Just have a try, and more excellent functions will be found when you are using it. costmoney9 - Tue Mar 17, 2009 4:35 am Post subject:
