A few years back, TaylorMade would perform full fittings for customers. The resulting TaylorMade R11 Irons is a marriage of the Burner and Tour Preferred lines.

The taylormade r11 irons are inspired by the R11 driver series and have integrated some of the design features of the driver into the irons. Although there is no white, there are some familiar TaylorMade trademarks in the iron head design and markings.

Because the r11 irons for sale are inspired by the innovation of the R11 driver, TaylorMade claims to have created their most powerful and playable iron in their history. The first and most defining part of the iron is the red weight port, which is screwed into the back of the iron head.

The first thing that catches your eye is red weight port. This weight port does not look adjustable as with the driver and no tools are provided along with the irons to change any weights. It is unclear to me if you could make them adjustable if the clubfitter wanted too, but there is nothing from the taylormade r11 irons for sale marketing department that says it is possible.

TM did not mention in their webcast or tech specs are the grooves. The are not milled, but cast. This is odd, but it works. These taylormade r11 irons australia impart a good amount of spin on the ball. The R11 irons put 1600 more RPM on the ball than Burner 2.0s.

The "Precision Weight Port" system (a plug similar to those found in Tour Preferred irons) is used in the taylormade r11 irons price to dial in desired head weights and swing weights, and to ensure each club's center of gravity is in line with the sweet spot.

You can feel, pretty accurately, where you made contact with the ball and when you hit it solid, you're rewarded with a deep appealing audible indicator that seems to say "You're going to like that one". Have fun!
