Part B. Best settings for Converting DVD to Surface RT MP4 format.
Step 1, go to download and install the best DVD to MP4 Ripper for Surface Windows RTand then run it. Click the File format bar to load your source movie(no matter from DVD discs, DVD ISO, IFO files or VIDEO-TS folder) to the program.
Step 2, Move your mouse to Format bar and tap it to choose the output format for Surface RT “Windows > Microsoft Surface Windows RT H.264 Video (*.mp4)”.
Tip: Due to the DVD native resolution, you’d better go to the Profile Settings panel to adjust the video size as 720*480. If you set the larger video size and high video bitrate, the output would probably look blocky and terrible.
After the conversion, get the output MP4 video via clicking the Open button. You can transfer the video files to Microsoft Surface via USB cable. Then, you can get the video from Libraries > Videos > My videos on your Microsoft Surface RT. In short, playing DVD movies on Surface RT with the best quality is not so hard.
