Post subject: TaylorMade R11 Driver Promotes A Faster Swing
The big news about the TaylorMade R11 driver is the amount of adjustability that is built into the club.

As you can see, there is a lot of flexibility in the setup of the taylormade r11 driver. It is imperative that this be correct for the driver to perform well for a player. Custom fitting the R11 driver to my swing helped dramatically. Having a club fit in the Miles of Golf Cluboratory is always a good idea, but with this club and all of its variables it is critical.

TaylorMade has two main types of drivers, the R11 series and the Burner series. The r11 driver is an adjustable driver that allows you to choose a setting for loft, face angle and flight path. The Burner has a low center of gravity and a lightweight clubhead, which promotes a faster swing for more distance.

Instead of Left and Right on the hosel indicating a closed or open face, the hosel says Higher and Lower referring to the ball flight. For every degree the face is closed, it raises the effective loft of the driver, and conversely for opening the face. The discount r11 driver can be adjusted up to 1 full degree from its standard loft by adjusting the shaft.

Enter the R11 irons. The taylormade r11 irons look slightly cleaner than the TP CB’s at address. The lines from the hosel, to the leading edge, to the toe, and then to the top line flow together nicely creating a head that is a pleasure to look at.

The faster ball speed came from a higher smash factor (efficiency), which is ball speed in relationship to club head speed. The higher smash factor means that the thinner face of the r11 irons were giving me a little more “spring effect” producing faster ball speeds.

Any question?
