General Discussion - Callaway X20 Irons Increase Ball Speed Off The Clubface heye622 - Sun Dec 09, 2012 12:23 am Post subject: Callaway X20 Irons Increase Ball Speed Off The Clubface
The Callaway X-series of irons have always been about high-quality product and the x20 is no exception.
The callaway x20 will be available with either graphite or steel shafts respectively, though several outlets are already taking advance orders for the 3-iron to pitching wedge sets at a strong discount.
With their low center of gravity and a high moment of inertia, the x20 irons for sale are forgiving and reliable. The clubs provide distance and accuracy, while the wide sole and large face prevent mishits.
As well as its controversial square-headed FT-i driver, Callaway Golf had lots more to shout about at the PGA trade show in Florida, including the latest generation of the legendary X-Series irons - the x 20 irons, X-20 Tour and X Forged.
Callaway used its Progressive Wall Reduction System to lower the center of gravity in the x20 irons. The clubs have short, straight, hollow hosels with Tru-Bore Technology, allowing the shaft tip to extend through the clubhead to the sole.
Its engineers have been hard at work lowering the centre of gravity on the callaway x-20 (six per-cent below the X-18s) re-distributing weight in the head for extra stability and integrating its VFT technology to increase ball speed off the clubface.
