"I have Canon EOS t2i and I am shooting movies and it stores onto my SD card as mov+thm. I can't seem to upload video from my SD card to my iPad 3. MOV 1280 60fps is my setting on video for my camera. I have the camera connector kit and both things didn't work. And iMovie doesn't recognize my videos either. Help me please."

You might have noticed that the footage taken with Canon EOS cameras (5D/7D/550D/600D/5D Mark III, etc) are saved in .mov format, which should be supported by iPad. However, it turns out that some EOS footage are not all work with iPad.
Check the iPad 3 supported video formats and you'll know that iPad 3 indeed supports "H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats". Some of the Canon EOS cameras (e.g. t2i/550d) can shoot at 60 frames per second which isn't supported. The best way to get your Canon .mov footage with iPad is to set shooting mode to 1080/30fps or 720/30fps. Now how to work with existing 60p footage? Find a guide below.
To Convert Canon 1280x720/60fps footage to 1280x720/30fps video for iPad 3:
1. Back up the Canon .mov shootings to computer.
2. Get an iPad Video Converter installed on your PC/Mac. Here I take Pavtube HD Video Converter for example (it converts faster).
4. Press on "Format" bar and select "iPad > iPad 3 (New iPad) Full HD Video(*.mp4)" as new iPad 3 best friendly format for editing on iMovie. If you are iPad users, recommended select "iPad > iPad Video H.264(*.mp4)".
