Many top creative professionals choose Avid Media Composer to help them create the world’s favorite films, TV shows, and other media. I am currently editing on Avid Media Composer. I recently started using a camera that shoots AVCHD, and Avid MC does not support this format. I bought Brorsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac to convert AVCHD and other file types into DNxHD for Avid Media Composer on Mac , I love it, it is doing exactly what I need it to and better still it is very easy to use. My colleague is a Sony HDR-AX2000 user, he encounted the same problem as me , so I recommended him to try it.Only used once so far but that went with zero issue and there was no difficulty in navigation or modfication of output format parameters.
Step 1. Download and install the Brorsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac, then launch it.
Step 2. Click “Add” to import Sony AX2000 .mts/.m2ts files to the program
Step 3. Select Avid Media Composer > Avid DNxHD(*.mov) as output format. Click Settings to set video size to 1920*1080, frame rate to 30fps.
Step 4. Check box of “Merge into one file” and click Convert button to start to transcode Sony AX2000 AVCHD to DNxHD on Mac for compatible with Media Composer.
When the conversion is finished, you can import the converted DNxHD .mov videos to Avid MC for editing without interlaces, choppy or any other problem on Mac.
Tips:
This Mac AVCHD Converter is also the best choice for transcoding 1080p or 1080i AVCHD to iMovie, FCP, FCE, Sony Vegas, etc on Mac OS X. Learn more about the pro from Brorsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac.
