Have you ever forgot windows 7 password for your computer? How did you solve it on your own? If you take use of the Windows password reset software to get your password recovery, you will find there is a requirement before you reset your password, which is to reboot your computer from your made CD/DVD. So what is BIOS? How could you set BIOS from CD/DVD?
In fact, BIOS, short of the Basic Input Output System, is the built-in software that determines what a computer can do without accessing programs from a disk. It also manages data flow between the computer’s operating system and attached devices such as the hard disk, video adapter, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
After the computer start booting, usually press F2, Delete or F10 to enter into BIOS Setup. Firstly you should change the boot order in BIOS with the arrow keys so the CD or DVD drive is listed first. Then you need to insert your bootable CD or DVD in your disc drive. Next, restart your computer, and watch for a Press any key to boot from CD or DVD... message. Now your computer should boot from the CD or DVD. Of course following these steps, you could set BIOS to boot from CD/DVD. You could also boot from USB as long as you change the choice. After that, you could continue your resetting process.
