Samsung announced that Galaxy Note 10.1 supports AVI videos, however playing AVI files on Samsung Note 10.1 is not that smooth, as AVI is a container format with various codec types, some of those codecs are not compatible with Galaxy Note 10.1 like the Xvid codec. So the best solution is to convert Xvid to Galaxy Note 10.1 on Mac with friendly output video format and codec.
