Fianl Cut Pro is the most popular Video Editing Software for Mac users. But FCP users may meet many issues about editing AVCHD due to incompatible format. Below is an example about Sony HDR-XR550 AVCHD Footages to FCP importing issue.
"Hi, I downloaded the FCP to try it out and see if it would work with my HDR-XR550, for some reason i cannot seem to import any files. I want to be able to import the files and edit my video.
