Now that you have converted some of your favourite PDF files to ePub using Calibre, Doremisoft PDF to ePub Converter or some other applications available which you want to read on your iPhone, but still you can't find an effective way to do it. Would it be a complicated process?
I surfed on the Internet, and found many people talking about how to transfer ePub eBooks to iPad, iPhone or iPod. It is quite easy for us to read ePub on iPad via the free iBook application that announced in conjunction with iPad, Besides, with the launch of iOS 4.0 on June 21, 2010, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and the second and third iPod Touch users can also read ePub via iBook application by updating the OS to iOS 4.
There are many ways to transfer ePub from your computer to your iPhone and iPod Touch. You can share your ePub over your local WiFi network, uploding them to the Internet, and transferring them over via USB. But today, I just want to share a most commonly used method to transfer your ePub eBooks to your iPhone or iPod, that's transfer your ePub eBooks to iPhone, iPod, iPad with iOS via iTunes.
Step 1: Launch iTunes and import your ePub eBooks to iTunes Book Library
iTunes will automatically detect your ePub eBooks stored on your local computer hard disk. And you can also add the ePub eBooks to Book Library manually by selecting File > Add File to Library... or File > Add Folder to Library to add desired ePub eBooks to iTunes Book Library. After importing to iTunes Book Library, you can make some necessary changes for your ePub eBooks before transferring to your iPhone or iPod.
Step 2: Connect your iPhone or iPod to your computer
Use USB cable to connect your iPhone or iPod to your computer. And you will your iPhone or iPod in the source list under Devices.
Step 3: Sync your ePub eBooks to your iPhone or iPod
Click on your iPad in the source list under Device. Then click Books tab at the top of the window where you can choose whether to sync all books or selected books. Select the books you want and click Apply, then you can sync the books to your iPhone or iPod successfully.
