This stylish and innovative camera will fit perfectly into your active life. Besides, this powerful tool is designed with high features like waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, freeze-proof, HD movies, 3D photos, Sweep Panorama, and a touch screen, follows you to the edge and proves you were there.

Sony DSC-TX10 Feature Highlights:

16.2 Megapixel Back-illuminated “Exmor R” CMOS Image Sensor

User reviews:
Pros: Keeps in the Sony tradition of quality pictures and video. Haven't used the extreme features yet such as underwater photography, but the compact design easily fits in your pocket.
Cons: The software platform is cumbersome, the touch screen is clunky, and trying to upload videos to your computer sucks. Your videos are shot in HD video format and that file is unreadable by all major video viewing and editing software.

But, you may find it shoots AVCHD videos in 1080/60i, which is not the perfectly playable and editable format for video viewing and editing software like Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, iMovie, etc from reviews. Here, I will share my solutions about how to put and import Sony TX10 AVCHD to FCP X on Mac for further editing.

Preparation:
1. A top AVCHD to FCP X Converter Tool to transcode DSC-TX10 AVCHD MTS to FCP X a compatible video format.
2. Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.5 above.

Step 1: Connect your Cyber-shot DSC-TX10 to your Mac with USB 2.0. Launch the best AVCHD converter for FCP X software and then click the adding button to import your 1080/60i MTS/M2TS files to it.
Tip: If you wanna merge DSC-TX10 AVCHD files for FCP X for editing without interruption, you can select the “Merge into one” box.

Step 2: Click on the “Format” and get the dropdown menu, then move you pointer to “Final Cut Pro”. Here we recommend the Apple PreRes 422(HQ) format for FCP X. Then set the output folder by clicking “Browse” icon as you need.

Step 3: Click the “Settings” icon and you will go into a new interface named “Profile Settings”. You’d better set the video frame rate as 30fps, video size as 1920*1080 to keep the best quality for editing in Final Cut Pro X.

Note: Before start the conversion, you’d better deinterlace Sony DSC-TX10 1080/60i .mts/.m2ts for FCP X on Mac first.
Click Edit and you will go to the Video Editor. Then click Effect and select "deinterlacing".
