Many of my friends have confusion about how to recover or reset windows xp password as follow:
"So I have windows xp and when I get to the screen where it asks for my password,I forgot my xp password, and i put something random in my password hint because i don't want other people in my family getting on my computer. Is there a secret on how to get pass that screen?
someone has changed my Windows xp login password for administrator and user account. I am trying lot to login it but it dosent work.how to reset it?
I have two operating systems running on my computer, Linux and windows xp, i boot to my linux first because its smaller and easier to use. i need some docs saved on my windows xp profile but i've forgot Windows xp password. My computer doesn't have a cd drive so i can make a boot disc.
When we install Windows XP, it automatically creates an account "administrator" and sets its password to blank. So if you have forgot xp login password then try this:
Step 1: Boot computer and press Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice when you see windows login screen. It'll show classic login box.
Step 2: Type "administrator" (without quotes) in username field and leave password field blank, press Enter and you should be able to login Windows.
Step 3: Now you could change or remove other accounts' passwords, including administrator password and other standard users' passwords
