A friend of mine asked me about the solution to edit .mov files in Pinnacle Studio 12. There seems codec problem for editing MOV in Pinnacle Studio and I noticed that there is comment saying the latest version of Pinnacle Studio 12 now supports importing and exporting QuickTime .mov videos.
But I am not sure if it works for my friend's MOV. I also recommend my friend to have a look at MOV to AVI converter for editing in Pinnacle Studio. Aunsoft Video Converter is the recommended MOV to AVI converter for easy editing in Pinnacle Studio. Cameras like JVC GC-FM1, Canon SX200, Canon EOS 7D record videos in .mov format, and there are also videos from QuickTime and other video tools.
Below is the step-by-step guide for you to convert MOV to AVI for editing in Pinnacle Studio 12 on Windows 7.
Step 1. Load MOV videos to Aunsoft Video Converter.
Run Aunsoft Video Converter as the best MOV converter, and click the "Add" button to load the .mov videos from computer hard drive. If your videos are recorded from camera, you shall transfer .mov files from cameras like Canon or JVC before loading for conversion.
