With very high-quality 10MP stills, 1920x1080 AVCHD video recording and playback, nice wide-angle 4x zoom (25-100mm equivalent), top notch 3.5-inch LCD screen and excellent touch screen interface, the sleek and stylish Sony Cyber-shot TX7 offers the best shooting experience I've ever had.
However, I'm still gonna rate the camera 4 out of 5 stars simply because of the AVCHD (.MTS) footage... Actually I was quite upset when I found out that all my 1920x1080 AVCHD recordings with MTS file extension from Sony TX7 were not accepted by my Adobe Premiere Pro. Soon later, I realized that I need to find an AVCHD converter to convert my MTS videos to Adobe Premiere Pro accepted formats, for example MOV.
Luckily for me, it didn't take long to find a very good enough Mac AVCHD converter which is designed for Mac users to convert AVCHD files with MTS or M2TS file extension to any other popular video or audio format at quite fast conversion speed with absolutely satisfying output quality.
