Rip Blu-ray movies to a NAS&play them back on NMT Popcorn Hour C-200
So you just have a large number of Blu-ray movies collections, and wanna rip and store them all on your NAS, so as to freely watch the stuff with your new NMT Popcorn Hour C-200? If so, you may come to the right place. Because this guide will focus on this point, and is going to provide you with a solution on how to rip Blu-ray to a NAS and play them back on NMT Popcorn Hour C-200. Just follow the detailed step-by-step instruction as below.
The software we will use is Pavtube Blueray Ripper. Why do we choose it?
Because it is an integrated program that can rip blurays into the format you want instead of having to use multiple programs. With full Blu-ray disc support, it is able to remove different copy protections of your commercial BD discs, no matter AACS, or BD+. The new released MKB V17 protection is supported as well.
OK, here we go.
Step 1: Click "BD/DVD ROM", "BD/DVD Folder" or "IFO/ISO" to load Blu-ray files
Step 2: Select output format for NMT C-200
Since it is clearly stated in C-200 Technical Specifications that C-200 is able to play MPEG2 Transport Stream (TS, TP, TRP, M2T, M2TS, MTS), to keep full playback quality, you can choose directly copying the Blu-ray M2TS streams to store on your NAS without any quality loss, and still with the .m2ts file extension.
Click on the dropdown list of "Format", and then follow "Copy"> "Directly Copy".
By the way, if you do mind the large output file size, you can then choose other file formats supported by NMT Popcorn Hour C-200, so as to save the storage space of your NAS. This Blu-ray rip software provides users with a large amount of output formats. You can select anyone of them that is fit for your NMT C-200.
If you do not use "Directly Copy", then you can click "Settings" button to adjust video and audio parameters to customize the output file quality, these parameters include codec, aspect ratio, bitrate, frame rate, sample rate, and audio channels.
Step 3: Click "Convert" button to start converting Blu-ray movies
As soon as the ripping task is completed, you can click "Open" button to get the output Blu-ray files stored on your NAS, and then connect C-200 to the network attached storage and home theater system for beautifully playback. Have fun.
