This guide shows Mac users how to rip DVD to MP4, AVI, MP3, WMV, WMA, FLV, MKV, MPG, RM, 3GP, and other video/audio formats supported by popular mp4 and mp3 players by using Brorsoft DVD Ripper for Mac.
Step 2: Import DVD.
Place the DVD into your DVD drive and click the “ DVD folder”or "IFO File" button to load DVD.
Tips: You can load your DVD from DVD drive, DVD folder in your PC and also IFO file.
Step 3: Video settings.
Select the output video format you want from the “Format” drop-down list.
Tips:
1: You can also select Audio Track and Subtitle from their respectively drop-down list.
2: If you like the current image of the video you can use the “Snapshot” opinion. Just click the “Snapshot” button the image will be saved and you can click the “File” next to “Snapshot” button to open your picture.
3: If you want to merge the selected contents into one file you can check the “merge into one file” option.
4: You can click the “Settings” button to set your video parameters.
Step 4: Start conversion
Click the “Start” button to start your conversion and in a short while it will be finished.
Step 5: Click “Open” button to open your output destination file.
Optional functions:
1. Effect
Click the “Effect” button, you can adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation of the video when you watch the video at the “Preview Pane”.
In addition, you can take some special effects like simple gauss blur effect, simple laplacian sharpen, gray, flip color, invert, aged film on the video clips.
2. Crop
If you hate the black edges or letterboxed and want to remove them from your video, you can click the “Crop” button to easily and freely crop the unwanted parties via two ways, that are dragging the frame around the video and setting the crop values: Top, Bottom, Left and Right.
3. Trim
Click the “Trim” bar to split the current title or chapter by dragging the Start Time slider to set the start time, and dragging the End Time slider to set the finish time. Then you can rip any segment from the video on Mac as you like.
