What is AVCHD?
AVCHD is usually used for high definition videos, which is compressed with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 as and Dolby Digital AC-3 or Linear PCM. The media container for AVCHD videos could be .mts, .m2ts. Most AVCHD camcorders record HD videos in .mts, e.g. Sony HDR-CX110, Sony Alpha NEX-5, HDR-XR520, Canon HF S21, Panasonic HDC-TM700K. Other AVCHD camcorders like Sony HDR-SR1, HDR-XR100, Panasonic HDC-TM350 will record HD videos in .m2ts format.
How to convert AVCHD MTS/M2TS to Motorola Droid 2?
