Some Mac users try to import VOB files directly to iMovie for editing, only to find that these VOB files in Video_TS folder just grey out. To edit VOB files in iMove (iMovie HD, iMovie 08, iMovie 09, or iMovie 11), you need to convert VOB files to iMovie friendly format first.
As we know VOB file (Video Object) is a container format and based on the MPEG program stream format. It contains video, audio, subtitle, menu and navigation contents multiplexed together into a stream form.
Using the VOB to iMovie to convert VOB videos is very simple, you just need to click you mouse several times, then the converting can proceed automatically. After converting VOB to iMovie formats you will find that the output files preserved the original quality. The VOB to iMovie Converter is not only easy to use, the convert speed is also amazingly fast. At the same time you can also use this wonderful VOB to iMovie Converter do some simple editing jobs, such as merge, split, extract, control set, capture, etc, all of these functions are available for Mac VOB to iMovie Converter.
