Windows Movie Maker is a free editing program which allows us to share the most memorable moment with family or friends on Computer and burn them into WMV, WAV, MPG, or send movie as an attachment of E-mail, or to the web. However, when you want to edit TOD files shot with your JVC TOD Camcorder, the TOD video files can not work on Window Movie Maker. How to make it?
Here I will share with the easier and faster way to import TOD to Windows Movie Maker-Using a reliable program called Moyea TOD Converter. This TOD Converter is designed to convert TOD to any other popular video and audio formats with excellent output quality.
Preparation: Free download Moyea TOD Converter here, install and run it.
Click the Add button to import the TOD files you want to convert, and then select output format as Windows Movie Maker workable format like WMV. And you can also set the location from the Output format, if not; the output files will be saved in the default folder automatically.
In addition, you can set the aspect ration, resolution, bitrate, codec, etc for your reference after clicking the Settings button. If you want to keep the profile you set for next direct use, just click the Save as to save the setting.
Tips: If the TOD files have interlace on the image, you can use Deinterlacing function to remove it by clicking the Edit button on the main interface to open the editing window. On the editing panel, you can also use other edit function as below to edit the TOD files.
After all the settings are done, you can click the Convert button to start converting. For its high compression technology, the whole conversion task will be done in a short time. Then you can get the converted video files by opening the destination.
Now, run Windows Movie Maker. Click the File Import to select the converted files, then youll see the WMV file in your Windows Movie Maker Collections. You can freely edit your AVCHD files on Windows Movie Maker for your reference.
